What’s Summer time without taking a trip to a local beach? Or more so a lake, if you grew up or live in the Midwest! Finding out that Malayna wanted me to do an elegant sunset session for her couldn’t have been more timely with Summer arriving at long last. Being out there near the calm waters of the lake we chose to shoot at helped to make it seem like more of a “normal” Summer, compared to last year’s.
Even with as muggy as it was after all the rainfall that came down only hours before the shoot, I know I still enjoyed being by a lakeside and soaking in the fact that we’re one year further away from the world unexpectedly turning upside down because of the pandemic.
On a lighter note, the outfits Malayna also chose to wear that day was a whole Summertime vibe! I mean, who doesn’t love to have the perfect opportunity to go around in flower crowns, airy dresses and swimsuits?
