Chloe & Abby
I could tell right away that Chloe’s dog Abby has been such a treasured source of joy for her. Abby was radiating love as soon as Chloe lead her out of the car she came in—she didn’t hesitate at all to waltz right up to me like we’ve known each other for the longest time!
As unfortunate as it was to learn a day earlier that Abby’s health has been on the decline, which has lead Chloe to make the hard decision of euthanizing her sometime soon, I felt so grateful to take on the request of Chloe’s sister Angel to help capture one of the last beloved moments she’s to spend with Abby in the form of a surprise photo session. But that particular moment wasn’t a dull one! Abby was living her best life the whole time, regardless of it coming to an end soon—and the cheese sticks Chloe had on hand to serve as treats for good and upbeat behavior worked like the best of charms. All of our time together ended on a very high note when Chloe also revealed (which I didn’t even immediately notice before,) the beautifully crafted black and white portrait tattoo she had gotten of Abby, placed right onto one of her calves, where the beauty of her precious memory can live on and on.
