For whatever strange reason, I remember when I turned 16 being fully convinced that I was going to feel like a full fledged adult - (and I felt more convinced at 16 than at 18 of this!)
I guess, for me at least, it maybe had more to do with all the hype surrounding potentially throwing a “sweet 16” celebration? I didn’t ever have a big celebration when I turned 16, but the sense of being ever closer to growing up to be an adult by 18 was enough to get me excited regardless.
Turning 16 is still a big milestone, so why not celebrate in multiple ways that don’t include possibly throwing one of the biggest birthday parties of your life, but also having a keepsake to remember this special time during your teenage years by such as a celebratory session just like Byron’s?
