Fields of Gold: Styled Shoot Ft. Giulia

One big thing about me is I absolutely love working with modeling others and using antique props for the styled shoots I think up. And you can get some pretty snazzy shots using things that you wouldn’t immediately think of—take a golden rococo style mirror frame, for instance.

The gold leaf used to make the frame really helps to bring out the warmth of the grassy open field Giulia and I were shooting in! I had originally been hoping for some major snowfall to come in time for this shoot, but when I looked back over the shots, I’m actually thankful for how dry everything stayed once the sun came out a little and the ice that covered trees earlier that morning melted right off. But once Giulia and I moved onto shooting around an aging historic barn, at least there was a little bit of snow leftover on the ground for us to take some advantage of!
