Andy + Lara
I met Lara when I was in college and we were both involved in an on campus ministry! When the day of the session with her and her husband Andy came, I was surprised to find out that it was lightly raining. I didn’t see any snow or rain in the forecast all week, including the day of their session, and yet the misty weather snuck right up on us (as it so often does to all of us here in the Mitten.) We also didn’t have any umbrellas handy, but we ended up not having to use one as much as we thought once we got to our shooting location, a nature trail which lead out to a big clearing of land with trees on the edges of it. Even with the rain, the chill of the winter season and the slushy snow at our feet, Andy and Lara were absolute troopers through it all—their positive attitudes were so contagious and took my mind off of the weather, and we stayed out in the woods until sunset was the only thing that got us to head out.
